I have had many dentists in San Francisco over the years. One compared my wisdom teeth needing to be removed to my appendix, which he thought also should be removed. That was it for him. Another dentist berated her assistant for not making enough cement for gluing in a crown they had had made for me, before this dentist herself dropped the crown into my mouth and almost down my throat. They were a husband and wife team and, I kid you not, he looked exactly like McTeague (look it up). Several "dentists" later I met Helen, my dental hygienist, and she left one of my latest dentists and joined Wanda's practice. I found out where she had gone and signed up with Wanda Leong, and have been very happy and satisfied with them for many years. My sister is also a patient with Dr. Leong. A very good thing for me is that Linda, Helen, and Wanda are quite a bit younger than I am, so, I'm set for life! I love them, as Medical People, and as twice-a-year friends. They take good care of me. ????

It may be a time of caution, but dental care doesn’t care about a virus. In fact, the stress from the pandemic can negatively impact your dental health, as well. It was important to me to keep my regular check-up schedule. My visit to Dr. Leong’s Office was stress-free: hand sanitizers, temp check at the door, face shields and masks worn by staff. Always a lovely experience. The cleaning never hurts, they play music instead of trying to chat the whole time, and never shame me about my flossing, only encourage me to do a bit better than before. Appointments start on time, the office is very clean (especially during Covid), and it’s easy to schedule/reschedule a cleaning. Also, they never try to up-sell me anything, just focused on maintaining my smile.
